I am inspired by botanical shapes in nature.

Extended Artist Statement

I love taking a walk and being present to the seasonal changes and the awesome variety of plant and wildlife. Everywhere I look, form, proportion, color, and design inspiring me to go to my studio and make something from the site of some beautiful detail that "stops me in my tracks". See for example, the delicate unfolding of Spring buds, or just simply the love of a cat, the flash of a dragonfly.
