Exploring the richness of color and playing with the vibrancy of life, I search beyond what the eye sees to find the inner celebration.

Extended Artist Statement

From bold backlit profiles and deep shadows to ethereal shifting assumptions, I am intrigued with nature’s dual aspects of fragility and strength. I make my mark, using color as emotion, creating a space that invites contemplation. Building up layers of pastel is much like building up (and at times exposing) layers of experience and memory in life, as I blur the boundaries between my inner consciousness and the natural world.
