    January 15, 2024

It’s 100 Day Project time! This is the 4th year the League has offered a support group for people participating in the project.

My name is Shawna Willis (Nimue) and I am happy to be facilitating the project this year! Our One Hundred Days will be Sunday January 28, 2024 to Monday May 6, 2024

This year, we are meeting via Zoom every week, alternating Mondays from 11a - 12:30p, and Mondays from 6p to 7:30p starting on January 29th, 6p to 7:30p. The group is an opportunity to share our project progress and learn from and inspire each other while practicing discipline in daily art activities.

All are welcome, even if you can only come part of the time. And, if you have an artist friend who lives on the North Shore but hasn’t joined the League, you can send them to our event listing on our website. They will be able to register as a guest.  If you aren’t registered yourself, just use the same link.

Some members participating in the White Bear Center for the Arts Show Fall 2024 may wish to tie the 100 Day project to their art for the show theme Fire Earth Air & Water. If you are participating in that show, be sure you have registered by February 29 (see your emails for show registration details).

Please be sure to register for the 100 Day event so you will receive meeting reminders and other important information. After you register, you will receive an email with the Zoom meeting link and meeting dates for the 100 Day Project meetings.   We will be using the same link and passcode for all the 100 Day meetings.

    North Shore Artists League

The North Shore Artists League has been invited to partner with the White Bear Center for the Arts, White Bear, Minnesota to showcase League artists and art in their new Ford Gallery in September-October, 2024.  This is an exciting opportunity for League artists to outreach into the 7-county Metro region of Minnesota!  The timing at peak color is excellent, too!  You may have indicated your intent to participate but this is the call to confirm and register your participation and your art.  This is a multi-media show so all fine art is welcome.

    Show dates:  September 3 - October 18, 2024

    Important dates for your planning:

    Registration closes:  May 31, 2024

Artwork label information to WBCA by 8/9/2024.  (more on this later)
